The staff were very helpful and friendly, Three of us shared a room and there were three sets of towels and coffee cups when we got there. It would have been nice to have 3 packs of caffinated coffee but we survived. Due to the holiday and other functions the hotel was full to the gills but the free breakfast was good and they kept bringing out new supplies. The hotel is a bit uphill from downtown so be sure to save some energy for the climb back or save some money for a cab. It was actually very handy to everything and easy to get to.

The location to downtown made it perfect for walking to the fun hotspots like Tootsies, The stage, and Country Music Hall of Fame. The room was neat and clean, my only complaint would be that housekeeping never came back to clean the room when we asked them to come back in 15. When returning from a night out the room was exactly they way it was left in the afternoon. I am already looking forward to planning another trip to Nashville and hope to be able to stay at the Holiday Inn Express again

This hotel is located right on Broadway in a great, central, safe location - directly across from the Frist museum, easily walkable to the touristy downtown area and also convenient to Vanderbilt University. The staff was friendly and put out fruit in the lobby every morning, the room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The room could have used a few touchups (old picture hangers exposed in the walls) and the tub wasn't as squeaky clean as I would have liked, but otherwise the rest of the room was very clean and we had an enjoyable stay. I would stay there again.

Construction! One elevator not working at all. Couldn't get in either front door when returning late at night. We used the ""complimentary"" shuttle one time. The driver was VERY impatient. The next day the shuttle was Out of Order. Last year we paid 50 less per night at this hotel. There was complimentary evening snacks: chili dogs, nachos, cookes, etc. which was very nice. None this year.

This hotel was very clean, nice staff. My biggest complaint is that I wasn't informed there would be a 12.00 charge per day for parking, which is a rip off anyway. I wouldn't stay there again because of the cost of parking!
