I choose hotels based on my needs and the children. One is the pool. It was shut down. Now I understand the maintance issues, but during the summer in a very hot climate. I called, read all the postings I could find and nowhere or no one mentioned this. Thiswas very upseting to a child who leaves to swim. Also the room had torn carpet and the bath tub had many chips in it and made it hard for a bath. I would not recommend staying here to anyone.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton and would most definetely stay there again. The location was convenient to the downtown Nashville nightlife and the concert that we attended at the Ryman auditorium.

The toilet was very noisy for a long period of time. Often made sleeping difficult if someone needed to get up during the night.

Please know that you will have to walk by multiple homeless people to get to the downtown attractions. My sister and I did not feel safe in the day, much less at night, trying to walk to and from the hotel to get to the fan fair events. This would probably not be a problem if you had a large group.

I've stayed at several of the big name chain hotels across the country including a Ritz-Carlton, Hyatt and Hilton to name a few but this was by far one of the most enjoyable places to stay. The staff was friendly and courteous, the room service was fantastic, and the bed was clean and comfortable! If I had to criticize any one thing it would be that having the sink and mirror in the bathroom instead of just outside the door made it a bit awkward to share the facilities. It was very convenient to TPAC as well. I couldn't have done better for the price and proximity!

stayed at this hotel due to its downtown location. That was the only good part. The cleaning service was terrible and rude. The vending machines and ice on three floors did not work and when I complained the staff were not concerned. The restaraunt and lounge were very small and inadequet and we were turned away several times due to over crowding. Upon checking out I advised the manager of the dissappointment and she stated ""oh well sorry"" Will never stay here again
