The thing I liked about the hotel was that I took my pet with me and they didn't charge extra like many do. The complimentary breakfast was pretty decent - better on Thurs when weekend travelers started to come in than on Wed. It is a good 10-15 minutes from the Aquarium and other attractions, but we also wanted to see the Lost Sea which is 60 miles north of Chattanooga so it was a good location for us. The staff, rooms, pool and cleanliness were about average for this type of hotel. All in all, I'd say it was good value for the money.

We got what we paid for. Our reservation was accurate and the hotel placed us where requested. The room was adequate and semi-clean. People were friendly and the location suited our purpose. Continental breakfast was well-stocked even though it was busy.

I was shocked at the quality of the La Quinta. First they messed up our reservation even after I called and confirmed directly with the hotel. We ended up in a smoking room that smelled like mildew. They never got 2 room keys to work at the same time, I kept having to go back to the first desk and they never asked to see an ID to give me a new key. The ceiling in the bathroom had been patched and looked as if it was going to fall in. I found roaches in the shower curtain. The walls are like tissue paper and we could hear everything from all four sides. The breakfast was your typical carb fare. It was so horrible that we got the manager to comp us a night, but then he still wasn't very friendly. There are SEVERAL other hotels within walking distance. I would recommend staying at another establishment.

Check in took less than 2 minutes, room was very clean and an excellent value for the money. Employees were definitely helpful and very nice. I would definitely recommend.

One person at desk who needed help on a Friday night... busy check in. Clerk was friendly once he was able to finally wait on me ( a 20 minute wait with a reservation!). Otherwise, clean room, decent size. Many quality restaurant chains in the area. We orderd take out from "Sticky fingers". Food was excellent. Continental breakfast was standard fare....nothing special but adequate. Motel appeared to have all outside room entrances. Excellent for travelers with pets for an additional 15 fee (we had a pet with us on this stay) .Hard line high speed internet also work flawlessly.Easy access from freeway. I would recommend this to anyone for a one or two night stay, especially if you have pets. Other than the busy check in and the adequate breakfast, a pleasant, quiet stay in a clean room for an excellent price.

We only stayed one night here, but were very impressed with how clean and large the rooms were. Someone has obviously put a lot of time into these rooms to make them look nice. Service was also good. Only problem was a somewhat lackluster continental breakfast. Otherwise, great!
