I had a horrible experience at this property [especially given the rate of $159/nt in Memphis which seems exorbitant given the quality of your property.]...

This hotel was overall ok. Not too fancy and about what you pay for compared to the other hotels in Memphis. Worth the $100 difference from the others....

Huge Disappointment
With a name like Wyndam, you expect more. I would always assume a Wyndham Hotel would surpass a Comfort Inn. Well, not in Memphis. This Wyndham...

We booked this hotel onnline and I'm glad we did. It was very nice and very clean. The bed was amazing, I slept like a baby. The day time staff was very nice and helpfull the night shift staff on the other hand was very rude. I read the reviews of other people who stayed here and were not happy with their stay b/c of the elavators not working and the water not working right. Well they were still down one elavator but the water worked ok. If we ever go back to Memphis we are going to stay here, and it's all because of the bed, I wanted to take it home with me!!

This was the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff is rude, the tub was dirty, the carpet had holes in it and was dingy, the comforter had wear and tear, it smelled and had a roach in the second room they moved me too!!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous.

The exterior was going through a renovation which made the outside very unappealing. The bathroom toilet seat had traces of human waste. However, the staff did respond quickly to our cleaning request. We also noticed the toilet was run to the hot water so the seat was warm and had condensation build-up on it constantly. It is located next to the interstate so it can be a bit noisy. The location to Beale St and other Memphis attractions was good because we were only 1 block east of the trolley stop at the Marriott. Perhaps the renovation will provide something better but you should work on another hotel in the area. There are several that offers the same amenities for the same or lower price.

We checked in Saturday, staff was great, room was great. When we went to take showers was not hot water, called front desk said to wait 15 min and then try, well then had warm water ( not hot). Next day went to take shower and still no hot water, called front desk said was reported and to wait 15 20 min and will have hot water. Not sure if they have an off/on switch or what. The did however credit us for our stay, so for that will consider staying again. Beale street is about 10 blocks away. That was inconvenient. Pool was always full of kids so that seemed to be a great activity.

I had to stand in line for 20 minutes to check in, the front desk clerk was not very friendly. There was a problem with my credit card and I went back down to correct the problem, the clerk said she didn't want to fix it and asked another clerk to do it. Only one elevator worked. The toilet would not stop making noise. Maintenance fixed the toilet, which only lasted about an hour and the toilet started making noise again. Then I was moved to another room due to the toilet not being able to be fixed. Parking was an additional 10 and the lot was full most of the time.

This is the first time that we have been away from our kids in nearly a year... we were excited. Unfortunately... only one elevator works, we had dirty towels in our bathroom, only the hot water works, no cold at all, the hotel smells like a cat sprayed it and the staff has been sloppily dressed and rude.
