My favorite hotel. I love the consistency at this Westin. I can't believe other people are complaining about the "circular shape". Lord, get over it.

Celebrating our first anniversary, we wanted a special week end away. Deciding on the Westin was a change but went for it anyway because of special packages, and chose a Deluxe Room (40th floor on south tower). The view was fantastic! And it went down hill from there. The Westin Heavenly Bath is a shower with 2 heads, and the towels feel like sandpaper. I'm still recovering from the Queen sized (booked a King) Westin Heavenly Bed. Thank goodness for the in-room massage we received prior to check-out (FANTASTIC massage, highly recommended). We looked all over for some type of guide to tell us which channel was which so we could check the local weather, never found. On the other hand, you can't beat the location. It's close to shopping, great restaurants, and the Seattle Center. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. Package deals are well thought out and good values. The view the view the view from upper floor levels is wonderful. Overall, we left thinking it could have been much better. As for the overall value, we believe the are beter places in Seattle.

I stayed at the Westin in April 2008. We had a room on the 33rd floor. It was a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean with an absolutely wonderful view of the city and its waterfront. One of the best things about this hotel is the location. It is situated in the heart of the downtown area between two malls, and an abundance of restaurants and retail stores. The monorail to the space needle is about 2 blocks away. Another plus for this hotel is the staff. The staff at the concierge desk was very helpful about recommending restaurants outside the hotel. They even make resvervations with a free appetizer. Room service was also very prompt. We ordered desert at 2am, and it was delivered promptly with a smile. I will definitely be coming by to Seattle again, and cannot imagine staying anywhere except the Westin.

I went to Seattle for business and it was my first time there. I could have stayed at any hotel but since the convention I attended was at the Westin, I stayed there. As it turns out, the hotel is in a very good location. I didn't plan on doing any sightseeing but the hotel is fairly close to the Seattle Center which includes the Space Needle but (even better) the Westin is only a block away from the monorail that goes there. That station is inside the Westlake Center which has a food court. I was very fortunate to find a food court so close. And the closer the better since I'm recovering from a broken leg. Also only a block away is a drugstore. Very convenient, especially if you want a water bottle that doesn't cost 5.00! Across the street is a McDonald's for late night munchies. The beds are very nice and I liked the dual shower head. It was windy one night and there were creaking and cracking noises. But I found a movie theater within walking distance and so I went there. I was surprised to find that they charge for local calls. The front desk was very nice to me.

We had an excellent stay at the Westin in downtown Seattle. It is located in the middle of most everything you want to do. It's a short walk to the train to the famous Space Needle and many other attactions. Also, it is in walking distance to shopping, Pike Place, and many parks. The staff was very informative on things that are offered for my dog, including dogsitting that could be arranged. We stay stayed on the 47th floor in the North tower next door to the Presidential suite and had an excellent view of downtown and Elliott Bay. I would definitely take my family back to this establishment.

We stayed in Seattle for four nights at the Westin. The staff was always very courteous and extremely professional. That and the bed made the Westin worth it. We were a little shocked at how much extra we would need to pay for in-room internet access, and that is hardwired access, its only wireless in the lobby. Amounts to about ten plus tax per day. One needs to sign up right at 12:01pm to get the most benefit since they reset all of the accounts at noon. Perhaps we were just expecting too much in the realm of technology from a four diamond hotel in the heart of Seattle of all places.
The staff were friendly and accomodating. Very close to major attractions. close to bus lines, Very accomodating, The Manager was very nice as ...
