This was truly a shock...we arrived late off Amtrak...and were greeted by a very busy bar...the hotel gives you free earplugs. I was praying there was another Ace Hotel in Seattle...but we were not that lucky. This should be called the Ace Hostel. They tell you there is a full breakfast included...ok...if a full breakfast is granola and Kirkland (Costco) yogurt...then enjoy your full breakfast. The bedding was horrible...really unbelievable. Words do not describe this experience. There is no pictures because they don't want you to see it. We paid * and it should not have been more than *. If you enjoy the Motel 6...then you will enjoy this place. Except you won't have a private bathroom and it isn't as nice. We had to go ask for a hair drier...and we were happy we only booked one night.

The Ace Hotel is a fun place to stay. Ultra Modern decor is their signature, with most walls, floors, and ceilings being a stark white, with white and natural accent pieces to give it a minimalist modern feel. Our room was nice, if a little small, but not bad overall. The bathrooms were across the hall, there were plenty of them to choose from, so they never filled up. It's in a great neighborhood with great food/nightlife, and close to everything. It's definitely worth staying there for 1 or 2 nights during your trip, very budget friendly.

This is not the hotel for everyone. Only ""deluxe"" rooms have private bathrooms. Otherwise guests share pristinely clean bathrooms. In the deluxe rooms the bathrooms are hidden behind part of a brick wall that swings open. Fixtures are stainless steel and somewhat spartan, but the shower is roomy and there is plenty of hot water.Ace Hotel has free high speed wireless Internet access, a good radio and small TV in each room, and a copy of the Kama Sutra instead of Gideon's Bible in each room. Too bad the lighting's so bad because the reading is much more inspirational.
