Intro

Located just north of Tulsa, Bartlesville is home to a host of attractions. One of the most unique attractions of the city is Price Tower, Frank Lloyd Wright’s only skyscraper. The building is located in downtown Bartlesville and was constructed for the H.C. Price Company. Another attraction is Bartlesville’s Kiddie Park, which first opened its doors to visitors in 1947. Admission to the park is still free and tickets for rides are just one shiny quarter.

Bartlesville is also the location of several festivals throughout the year. Each June, the Bartlesville Community Center is the location of a weeklong music festival, known as the OK MOZART International Festival. It features classical, jazz, light opera and other types of music. Sunfest, which happens in the first weekend of June, is more like three festivals in one weekend: arts and crafts show and music festival, a classic car show, and a biplane show, all at different locations within the city. In the fall, there’s a classic air show and festival, as well as the Indian Summer Festival held at the Community Center.
