Whistler, in the province of British Columbia in Canada, is a popular skiing destination near Vancouver. The city will host most of the ski events for the 2010 Winter Olympics and is consistently ranked as one of the top three ski destinations in North America. With more than 5,000 feet of vertical drop and 8,000 acres of ski trails, it is one of the largest ski resorts on the continent.

During the summer time the skiing paradise turns into a biker's paradise. Single trails and fast race tracks with spectacular jumps can be reached comfortably by the chair lift carrying both biker and bike. Whistler also offers some excellent sport and climbing. The hotel features a heated, outdoor splash pool that is open in the summer, complimentary ski shuttle service in the winter as well as on-site ski storage. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in the lobby. Guestrooms feature stone-and-wood gas fireplaces, 40-inch LCD TVs with satellite channels, free High-speed Internet access, and free local calls.
