Colorado Springs is the second largest city in Colorado, behind Denver not far to the north, and defines the northeastern tip of the south central region of the state. Cadet Ice Arena is housed in US Air Force Academy which is one of the important defense academies of the nation. Located 7000 feet above sea level with less air coupled with tough components leaves the hockey players gasping for their breath. The mighty Falcons have won most of the games played in the arena. This 2,502 seater arena surely is one of the toughest and hardest to conquer.

With the Rocky Mountains as a setting, The Colorado Festival of World Theatre produces some of the best plays. Featuring local and international actors, this festival is a meeting point for theatre directors, playwrights and actors. Plays like "Everything's coming Up Roses" and "An Evening with Queen Victoria" have been performed here. The Starz cabaret series features popular personalities in a nightclub setting.
