Full of character, this charming structure was once the home of English actor Robert Coates. But, it had more dubious beginnings as quarters for slaves, and is recognized today as the island's only remaining slave barracoon. Presently, the building is managed under the talented eye of well-known Caribbean artist, Gilly Gobinet. Naturally, the place is loaded with watercolour works by Gilly—both original art and prints in many forms. Her works and other Caribbean artists' pieces are showcased here.
