Palitos Buenos Aires, Argentina

Few tourists know that Buenos Aires has a sprawling Chinese community. In the residential neighborhood of Belgrano, a growing “Chinatown” has emerged, filled with supermarkets, bazaars and restaurants. There is no better place to enjoy Chinese food than Palitos, where dishes are abundant, fresh and tasty. Besides the usual staples (chop suey, rice, pork, mutton, chicken), delicious exotic soups are available for bargain prices. The décor is somewhat unconventional; an almost odd blend of oriental and tropical themes which mix to create a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. You'll rarely find a tourist inside the dining room, but such great food at such low prices should not be ignored! -Pablo Waldman
