Sammy's shows just how the Italian and Australian cultures have fused to make eating out in Melbourne such a pleasure. A chatty, buzzing place, you will quickly feel comfortable at Sammy's. The staff is relaxed and efficient, and you can usually get a last minute table. The menu is dominated by pizzas and pastas, though you will find the odd steak and chicken dish. The spinach gnocchi with blue cheese is sensational, but very rich. You cannot go wrong with the pizzas, huge with a great choice of toppings. Wash it down with one of the wide selection of bottled beers! Open for dinner, till late.
