A popular local "hang-out", The Galleon epitomizes the St Kilda scene. You will see all sorts of interesting characters and--so long as you are not wearing a suit--anything goes! The decor is simple, with bare tables and newspapers thrown around. The noticeboard has interesting local information from "lost cat" to "looking for lift to Sydney". A great place for the energy-hungry, the Galleon's menu covers all the "carbos"--pasta, rice, noodles, lentils, bread and potatoes! Good-sized portions and low prices make it a great place for those on tight budgets.
