The quiet fishing town of Oistins comes alive during Easter week when it celebrates the contribution of the fishing community to Barbados. A weekend of fun and frolic for the whole family, the festival includes an exhibition by the Coast Guard, a fish boning competition, boat racing, a street fair featuring local arts and crafts, road races and cultural performances. The event is organized by a committee of persons in the community. See the Web site for full details.
