Until recently, the island lacked Indian cuisine. Brothers Hassan and Ansari Muhajari changed that when they imported a Tandoori oven and hired a Delhi-born chef. The distinctive sound of Indian music sets a sultry mood. Indoor foliage, a waterfall, crisp linens and brass accoutrements all invoke a romantic and exotic setting. The menu includes a full choice of lamb, poultry, seafood and beef cooked with tantalizing spices. There is a delicious variety of Nan (leavened bread) that should not be missed. The Aloo Gobi (Potato and Cauliflower) and Jalfrezzi dishes are especially good. Suitable for vegetarians.
