Bermuda is graced with stately mansions and quaint cottages from the days of the British rule. Every year, the Garden Club of Bermuda selects 20 such homes to be featured on its annual tour. So on each Wednesday from late March through May, a tour may include a visit to Verdmont, a 1770s mansion filled with china, furniture and other authentic antiques of the era. If Paget Parish is to be explored, you will be sure to stop by Waterville, the original home of the affluent Trimingham family, built in 1735.
