This Italian restaurant opened in 1991 and is already a classic. The service is perfect and the decor is sober, somewhat dark, and very romantic. Located in a purple house on a small street of Jardim Botânico, the ownners do accept and appreciate early reservations. The Pea Soup, Ricotta Cheese and Spinach Gnocchi, the Guinea Fowl and the Wild Boar are all excellent choices, and the wine list an attraction in itself.

KEEP THE KIDS AT HOME!!!
If Silvana Bianchi still owns this restaurant, then please visit www.bringseanhome.org before eating here. This family has been found by the Brazilian Court system to be emotionally and psychologically abusing the 9 year old boy they kidnapped away from their biological dad in the US. Read the supporting documents (in english and Portugese) and see if you can keep the food down. The father is still fighting for custody. BRING SEAN HOME!
