This is the largest and most populated of the Gulf Island chain. It has rolling hills, forests, lakes and beaches. Visitors hike, bike, kayak, fish or relax. There are spots to enjoy a picnic or try one of the local restaurants. Saltspring is accessible by a 90-minute ferry ride from Tsawwassen on the mainland.
