Two things separate this South Vancouver restaurant from other Chinese eateries of its calibre: it serves portions big enough to satisfy western appetites, and it has the ambience of an intimate bistro. The power-lunching business crowd seems to like it here. The dining room is small but elegant, with mirrored walls, glass-topped tables and white tablecloths. The requisite Chinese decorations and piped-in music are here, too. A typical feast might include barbecued duck, spring rolls and hot-and-sour soup for starters; and ginger prawns, crispy chicken, sautéed beef and broccoli, and steamed vegetables for the main course.
