Explore over 300 years of history at this American fort. Until the Erie Canal was built, this citadel controlled access to the Great Lakes during Colonial Wars. It is located at the mouth of the Niagara River, minutes from Niagara Falls. The majority of the buildings were built between 1726-1872. Learn about the struggles endured at this historic site with tours, drills and battle re-enactments. The visiting hours are seasonal, please check the website for detailed timings
