Situated in a Victorian building built in 1891 and restored in 1994, The Niagara Pumphouse Visual Art Centre in the picturesque town of Niagara-on-the-Lake offers exhibitions by contemporary visual artists working in various media, as well as educational programs and workshops for young and old. There are also lectures, concerts and other public events, all are free. Several times a year, the centre sponsors tours to various sites of interest, including Frank Lloyd Wright's Darwin D Martin House and theAlbright-Knox Art Gallery. Admission is free.
