When Ruth Fertel mortgaged her home in 1965 to buy the 'best little steakhouse in New Orleans' and added her name to the original Chris, nobody could have envisioned some 66 locations North America-wide. Toronto's version, Ruth's Chris Steak House is located within the Hilton Hotel, offers a gentlemen's club atmosphere with seating for 200 divided into five separate clubrooms, including cigar and wine lounges. Steaks on offer range from the Petit Filet to the astounding T-bone; and that's before side dishes!
