Etrier Lausanne, Switzerland

This restaurant certainly has one of the most beautiful terraces in Lausanne, on the Place de la Palud, opposite the impressive Town Hall. It's a shame that the service is not of the same standard as the setting. In fact, there are two restaurants on the terrace, and the division is far from easy to make out. The menu is very varied, offering everything from pizzas to classic dishes. Be forewarned: This place is always packed and the food is less than spectacular. Come here to see and to be seen.
