The famous restaurant, whose previous patron (Girardet) from which it takes its name was acclaimed as one of the best chefs in the world, has since been taken over by Philippe Rochat. Also called Restaurant de l'Hotel de Ville (Crissier), it has suffered a couple of setbacks recently, but is now once again on track and has been acclaimed as the best restaurant in Switzerland (if not the world). Described as personalized cuisine, the menu adapts itself to the seasons with unique specialties. Set in the old town of Crissier it takes on a traditional atmosphere while being modern at the same time. A restaurant where subtle and efficient service is of utmost importance. Dishes vary, however most are influenced by French cuisine, such as frogs' legs and foie gras. A most wonderful experience and a must for any gourmet.
