This is the newest ski resort, opened in 1988. It is 3,035m high and the best in Chile, boasting 800 beds and an infrastructure equivalent to anything found in Europe. You arrive along a 14km paved walkway that begins at curve 40 on the route to Farellones. It has 31km of skiable terrain and 27 slopes, the longest of which is 3km long. There are 4 nursery slopes, 9 for intermediates, 11 for advanced skiers and 3 for experts. There is also a place to practice snowboarding. The maximum skiable height is 3,670m. The centre has 3 luxury hotels, an events and business centre, 7 restaurants, a disco, games room and a pub. There are various snow based activities and classes for beginners and experts. The season runs from the 22nd of June to the 6th of October.
