This restaurant, inspired by the book "Like Water for Chocolate", recreates a colourful Mexican ranch, with wrought iron railings on the balconies and plenty of wood, stone and exposed bricks. On the first floor there is a bed turned into a table. The solid wood tables, musical instruments and oil lamps, contribute to the romantic environment. The menu, consist of and almost entirely aphrodisiac selection, with dishes such as saffron choritos soup at CLP2,800, crunchy prawns in breadcrumbs with sesame and vinaigrette (CLP3,800) or "Veracruz" rice with squid rings, oysters and prawns, served in a coconut shell. The main courses are filling enough to leave one ready to take on a dessert, like sweet potatoes with custard and ice cream (CLP2,300). A good wine list - somewhat expensive- and a dozen different beers to choose from, complete the menu.
