If your in the mood for some Hakka cuisine while in Beijing, try out the restaurant Han Cang. The ambiance at the restaurant is casual with two levels. Try getting seats at the second floor so that you can dine while enjoying a great view of the lake. Drawing a mix crowd of teenagers, and couples, it serves Hakka cuisine which is a good change from the usual Cantonese and Sichuan fare. Some of the best dishes here are "Sanbei Ya", "Yanju", "Claypot Eggplant" and "Zhi Bao Luyu Fish". Han Cang is a popular restaurant, be sure you have reservations first.
