The name refers to a famous attraction in Hunan province, the home of Chairman Mao. The styling is rustic country primitive wooden tables and chairs, hard floors and peppers strung up on the walls and ceiling. The menu is in Chinese and the staff speaks little English. There is a wide selection of traditional Hunan dishes on the menu and they are fiery and hot! Dishes are robustly flavored with much use of hot peppers. Many believe this is one of the best Chinese eateries in town, for the food is not only very good, but also very cheap.
