The valley, with its pretty views, warm springs, colonial village and attractive parks, represents a refreshing change if you have been spending time in the city. You can visit several small villages in the same day, eat in a rustic restaurant, visit historic churches and enjoy the beauty of the tropical surroundings. There is public transportation available, but it is easier to visit the area in your own vehicle. This is also a favorite area for mountain bikers, including beginners.
