Before taking a step into Costa Rica's National Parks, learn about their natural wealth by visiting this 20-acre theme park run by the National Biodiversity Institute (INBio). It features three native ecosystems: tropical moist, tropical dry and Central Valley native forests. Bilingual guides take you on a two-hour tour. Benches, natural shade and a restaurant offering local cuisine add to an enjoyable learning experience. Admission is CRC2,550 for adults from Central America; CRC11,964 for non-resident adults. There are discounts for children, students, families and other groups.
