The best Czech-owned Italian restaurant in town, La Palma hides a ways out in the Palmovka neighborhood, but its tasty pasta dishes and pizzas make it worth the trip. Attracting a huge lunch crowd, the restaurant's reasonable prices and large portions are hard to beat. The creamy Pomodoro Soup makes for an excellent starter while the Rigatoni alla Siciliana is a local favorite. The normal selection of Moravian wines and beers are on offer. A plus, it is situated next to the Hrabal Wall, a collage history of the famous Czech writer's life. A minus, no awards for friendly service so get ready for the "what will it be" Czech-style approach. A reminder that you are indeed in Prague rather than Palermo.
