The philosophy at Kyano's is that tradition does not have to be left to gather dust, but that it can be adapted to modern tastes. The decor is modern and Mediterranean, a far cry from the fishing nets and plaster-cast Aphrodites which decorate many other Greek places. A special feature is that the guest is shown their piece of fish or meat before it is cooked.
