Situated next to the so-called Revolution Palace and its Elserhalle, the location dictates the clientele: at lunchtime hungry business people flock here to eat the great midday food (e.g. carrot and orange soup followed by salmon fillet with Dijon sauce and boiled potatoes); in the evenings concert and party-goers from the neighbouring Kunstpark come here to enjoy Italian snacks such as panini and tramezzi or à la carte dishes like lamb provençal with potatoes and Italian herbs. The most unusual and original thing at Malatesta is the fact that the pizzas are prepared in front of the guests.
