Despite the floods of tourists who come here after visiting Schloss Nymphenburg, Zur Schwaige is a remarkably quiet and serene restaurant. There are four rooms furnished in period decor and guests can dine on traditional Bavarian fare such as knuckle of pork or on more sophisticated international cuisine. However, Zur Schwaige best known for its asparagus dishes, with up to 50 different variations on the menu during the asparagus season (late spring-early summer). Well worth a visit.
