This is the place where horse-racing experts get together twice a week. A risky, exhilarating bet on a horse remains an unknown pleasure for most visitors to Hamburg, but is well worth the hopes and worries during the race. Speculators are free to seek information and advice from a bookmaker or simply place a bet immediately. If you are feeling particularly extravagant, you can also hire a stretch-limo to celebrate in style! Bets can be placed from 6:30 pm - 9 pm on Thursdays, and from 2 pm -7 pm on Sundays. Race tracks are open all year, and in summer, Trabrennbahn am Volkspark also serves as an open-air venue for live concerts.
