Located under the overhead railway, Deponie No.3 is popular with students from the nearby Humboldt University who meet here after lectures for a cheap meal and a couple of beers. The occasional tourist also strays in and may be surprised when the whole place starts to rattle when a train passes overhead, but that's all part of the charm. Friday and Saturday evenings feature jazz and candlelight; Sunday brunch is also accompanied by the swinging sounds of jazz. It opens at 9 am on weekdays and 10 am on weekends.
