Built in 1504, this was formerly used as a merchant's hotel. It is one of the best preserved examples of a wikala (market), being one of only 20 that still remain in the city. The exterior is particularly impressive with its imposing wooden door, small windows and mashrabiya panels. Nowadays, it functions as a theater, concert hall and artists' co-operative. Look out for the beautiful exhibition of Bedouin crafts in the former stables.
