Asador Guipúzcoa, this prestigious Basque restaurant specializes in chistorra sausage, fresh hake and grilled meats. The dining room holds up to 250 diners and is decorated like a traditional country house in the north of Spain with a warming log fireplace, wooden beams and paintings of Basque landscapes on the walls. One wall is given over to a huge mural depicting the city of San Sebastián. There's also an enormous garden-terrace open in summer where you can sit outside to eat dishes like cod omelette and sardines. Try a glass of cold cider or have a look at the extensive wine list.
