Located in the northern section of Madrid, Restaurante Zalacain has been wowing its high-brow customers since 1973. Several awards later, the restaurant still remains one of the city's best dining spots. The food is best described as “haute cuisine,” with a focus on Basque dishes and seafood entrees. Gentlemen, make sure to wear a jacket and tie or you'll be swept out onto the curb with the discarded shrimp tails.
