La Isla literally means 'The Island' and you get a feeling you are on one here. Founded in 1946, this specialized sea-food Andalusian eatery is doing very well for itself. La Isla serves the best and freshest fish, which are picked straight off the coast everyday. The owner is of Galician descent and has a treasury of time-tested recipes, which more than make up for the long wait and high prices. Saying that they have an array of sea-food to pick from would be an understatement. Go for the Salmón marinado al aroma de Enebro or the Chacinas ibéricas serranas variadas or even some well-crafted prawn and lobster varieties. Combine them with the vintage wines and you won't need anything else for a perfect evening.
