Restaurant Aurinko is the pride of Hotel Helka in the Kamppi area. This relatively new restaurant can be accessed through the hotel's ground floor, and is definitely something to be proud of. The décor is bright and happy, and is quite a nice surprise; aurinko means "sun" in Finnish. The decorators have just placed suns everywhere: on the walls, curtains, mirrors, everywhere. It sets a pleasant mood and roaming eyes have many places to look without getting bored. The menu is also impressive. Although there isn't a limitless amount of dishes, it is nice to browse through as each dish is described briefly on the menu. Fresh mussels in white wine and corn chicken are both excellent dishes. Once again there is a restaurant connected to a hotel that is a success, where good service is guaranteed.
