Safka Helsinki, Finland
+358 9 135 7287
Safka is a fairly new restaurant just a few minutes walk from the city centre. Though the word safka is a slang word for food, the menu is very sophisticated. For starters perhaps try some burbot soup, and savour rosemary-smoked roe deer as a main course. The prices at this trendy spot are slightly high, but the customers, who are primarily middle-aged businessmen, do not seem to mind. The food is extremely soft and juicy, thanks to the skillful chef. There are lots of wines available, and all major credit cards are accepted.
