21 has made a comeback at rue mazarine where you will just find the number written on a black awning. Inside there are black leather booths and wooden tables and the menu is written on a blackboard. Order from the menu stuff like fresh herring sprinkled with spring onions, sardines fagora, laboutargue to pasta, filet of sea bass, marinated herring, confit of sardines, a stunning tartare, squid risotto and lisettes. This small place has great service and a small wine list to match the food. Owned by Paul Minchelli who knows his seafood very well.
