A miniature version of the Clapham High Street Eco, Eko in Brixton is about as tempting as a pizzeria can be, a teeny-weeny cafe-cum-restaurant nestling in among the exotic hustle and bustle of the market. Eighteen varieties of pizza include such delicious delights as lemongrass chicken or, for vegetarians, there's the 'Amore' made from roasted red pepper French beans, artichoke and aubergine. Al forno dishes include baked lemongrass prawns and baked mussels and dolcelatte. There are also focaccia sandwiches and calzones to choose from, not to mention an impressive range of salads and puds. And if you don't fancy a full-on meal you don't have to have one. What could be a better way to start the day?
