The winner of the Oriental Restaurant of the Year title in the Moet & Chandon London Restaurant awards could be accused of hiding its light under a bushel. The drab exterior hides a notable restaurant where discerning Cantonese dine. Seafood is the specialty here so if you want dim sum, go to nearby Royal China. Service is not a high point but the food will captivate your taste buds and you'll willingly forgive all. Only the freshest fish and shellfish are served, and the Scottish lobster literally flies out of the kitchen on busy days. High prices take the inherently more expensive seafood into account, but equally tasty stir-fries and similar dishes are much cheaper. It does get very busy early evening, so trying after 9p might help you miss the rush.
