Aldens Restaurant manages to retain a warmth beyond other examples of "modern-Conranesque" restaurants. It has become well renowned in a short period of time for serving imaginative, modern Irish cuisine, using the best of local produce. Steamed mussels in white wine, garlic and parsley, roast fillet of sea bass and garlic mash, wild boar sausage and crispy duck confit will give you an idea of what dishes to expect. An extensive à la carte menu is available. For wine buffs, there's a range of 14 house wines to choose from.

Management Indifferent
Have been a loyal customer of Aldens since it opened, having spent many memorable enjoyable evenings and special occasions in the restaurant. Unfortunately we have noticed the service deteriorating. The service has lost its polish and style and it deteriorates rapidly after the main course is served. I have written to the Manager and Owner twice, trying to get a response to a complaint and they have totally ignored the letters. A telephone call to the Manager got a response of indifference. There seems to be no recognition for loyal customers. I will not be back.
