Celebrate Scotland's national drink with a visit to this fascinating center, the Scotch Whisky Heritage Centre. The exhibition covers three floors and a one hour guided tour, running every 20 minutes, takes you through the distillation and blending processes, explaining the history of whiskey production and consumption. The tour can be given in eight languages - English, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish - and Braille scripts are available. Children will enjoy the special barrel ride through a series of tableaux depicting three centuries of whiskey making. The center also features the Whiskey Bond Bar and Bistro and a gift shop. Check the website for seasonal timings.
