Established in 1977, this is a family-run American diner offering an excellent range of mid-price food. The basic no-fuss menu includes starters such as prawn cocktail and garlic mushrooms while the main courses centre around meat, with lots of steaks, burgers, ribs and chicken. There are, however, some vegetarian options as well. Bright and breezy decor and informal service create an atmosphere that is busy and fun, and it's a good place to drop into for a quick meal, especially if you're staying in one of the hotels on Cathedral Road, just around the corner.
