Refurbished and modernized, the Madeira Restaurante is styled like a Portuguese restaurant, but instead of being 100 percent authentic, the menu merely draws on Portuguese influences. The result is an array of colorful meat dishes with highly flavored sauces. Try the peppered rump steak or the fiery chicken a vilo, which is laden with chillies. Vegetarians pretty much have to make do with omelette amd pasta, which although freshly prepared and very tasty, are less exciting than the choices for non-vegetarians.
