It's worth leaving the city centre for this country house restaurant, especially if you're planning a special night out. The country house setting of the Manor Park hotel combines modern comfort with old elegance. The restaurant is large and well lit, classically furnished with lots of polished wood and touches of regal deep blue. Service is formal, very efficient, complementing the peaceful setting. The extensive menu offers a range of à la carte and table d'hote meals with an international flavour. Dishes such as loin of veal with white wine and spinach and parmesan pancakes feature, and be sure to leave room for the desserts, brought round on an old-fashioned trolley after the meal.
